As a Data Controls Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution with the possibility of remote work. The client is currently undertaking a multi-year program, Data and Analytics Office Europe, focusing on implementing Data Controls across key business services in major European markets.

Your main responsibilities: facilitate process discovery for prioritized business processes in Europe

• Engage with Business Process Owners and IT Service Owners
• Document processes following client’s standards and tools
• Gain an end-to-end understanding of data in business processes, including Data Elements, Lineage, and Quality rules identification
• Implement Data Controls in collaboration with business process owners, IT service owners, and the global Data Utility Team
• Assist in understanding data management principles and implementing data controls for expected business outcomes
• Act as a single point of contact for Data Utility teams implementing data controls

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis with a focus on working with Business and Technology stakeholders
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
• Excellent process modeling skills, including identification and documentation of process flows
• UML/BPMN knowledge
• Ability to translate/ explain technical terms to business SMEs
• Good understanding of Data Management and Data Quality in an enterprise environment
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in financial/banking companies
• Expertise in Data Management, including data quality and governance
• Proficiency in German or French language
• UML/BPMN knowledge
