As a Data Security Automation SME, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, focusing on cybersecurity automation and integration. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance the security and efficiency of infrastructure technologies. Your work will contribute to the development of end-to-end solutions, focusing on product integration, data management, and user interaction within a secure environment. Your main responsibilities: Developing and implementing end-to-end solutions for infrastructure technologies automation
- Collaborating with the team to identify and remove barriers affecting processes and products
- Maintaining an agile mindset by adopting required practices, processes, and tools
- Designing and developing solutions for both on-premise and modern container infrastructure
- Investigating and resolving technical issues across various environments (DEV, UAT, Production)
- Enabling discipline and improvements in agile software delivery and continuous DevOps pipelines
- Managing progress, issues, dependencies, and risks, ensuring adherence to standard controls
- Participating in the technical development of team members where required
- Ensuring all Technology practices and tools are adopted and adhered to within the project
- Performing hands-on technical tasks, including front-end/UI development
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Experience in cybersecurity, development, or operations environments
- Understanding of Data, Network, and Endpoint security domains
- Relevant knowledge of software architecture, design, development, and delivery
- Proficiency in full stack engineering, including front and back-end programming skills
- Talent in front-end/UI development with technologies like Figma, HTML/CSS/JS
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and agile testing methodologies
- Proficiency in Python programming for scripting and web programming
- Strong knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices
- Experience working with databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Strong agile/scrum development experience and familiarity with UNIX/Linux/Windows environments
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in system administration or application administration roles
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization of services
- Experience in sharing knowledge and driving best practices within a team
- A flexible and adaptable approach to change, supporting others in doing the same
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and contribute productively to team objectives
