As a Delivery Manager – Mobile Platform, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution with a strong focus on digital innovation. The project involves overseeing the Mobile Platform Value Stream, which drives the development and enhancement of mobile applications, digital messaging, and underlying technology to deliver a superior customer experience. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of these initiatives, working within a cross-functional team to drive continuous improvement in processes, tooling, and engineering practices in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide delivery management for the global Mobile Platform program
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies across Scrum teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive team environment
- Drive the development and delivery of product roadmaps in collaboration with Digital Product Teams
- Identify and establish team structures that align with roadmaps for efficient delivery
- Manage large and complex projects with a focus on timely delivery through effective planning and governance
- Create, track, and report on project timelines, budgets, and backlogs, proactively managing issues and risks
- Ensure adherence to governance procedures and contribute to process improvements
- Facilitate regular project meetings to document, assign, monitor, and manage project issues and risks
- Engage and collaborate with business units, internal IT, and other teams throughout the program lifecycle
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Extensive experience across the entire project lifecycle, with strong project management skills in initiation, analysis, design, testing, and transition
- Proven experience in Delivery Management or IT Program Management, particularly in delivering large-scale programs with a focus on mobile and digital experience delivery
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile SCRUM, or equivalent proven experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage matrix project teams regionally and globally
- Experience managing change management projects and teams within tier-one financial services organizations
- Commercial acumen with strong risk management and mitigation skills
- Fluent English
- Familiarity with banking standards and a good understanding of IT systems
- A university degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Exposure to modern digital technologies, especially mobile apps and mobile architecture
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in working within a multinational corporate environment with a focus on agile methodologies
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and its regulatory environment
