Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 times in the office/month)

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, contributing to the development and maintenance of their infrastructure. You’ll be involved in enhancing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes, managing databases and application components, automating management processes, troubleshooting application components, and participating in the conceptualization and planning of new modules and functionalities. Additionally, you’ll optimize existing components, develop tools for automated testing and monitoring, and manage configuration while maintaining Linux operating systems.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools and processes

  • Manage monitoring and logging tools
  • Oversee databases and other application components
  • Automate application component management processes
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application component issues
  • Participate in the development and planning of new modules and functionalities
  • Optimize the performance of existing components
  • Contribute to the development of tools for automated testing and monitoring
  • Manage configuration effectively
  • Maintain Linux operating systems

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps or programming roles
  • Proficiency in Linux systems (RHEL)
  • Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Basic understanding of Python language and ecosystem
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
  • Ability to create and optimize Dockerfiles
  • Knowledge of building systems and continuous integration
  • Experience with distributed version control systems like Git
  • Proficiency in Ansible
  • Familiarity with queuing systems
  • Proficiency in English language for technical documentation
  • Independence, creativity, ability to acquire knowledge about new technologies and practically utilize them

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience working with Agile methodology
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Familiarity with:
    • Jenkins
    • Sentry
    • Grafana
    • InfluxDB
    • Redis
    • Gerrit/Bitbucket
    • Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools
    • RabbitMQ/RQ/Websphere MQ/Kafka
    • Nginx, HAProxy
    • Azure AKS, AWS EKS, GC GKE
