As an Expert Security Researcher – Vulnerability Discovery & AI Optimization, you will be working for our client, a global leader in cybersecurity research dedicated to strengthening financial institutions’ defenses. You will contribute to groundbreaking security projects focused on the client's critical services, harnessing your expertise to identify novel vulnerabilities and develop AI-powered solutions that elevate the security landscape. Your main responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced security research on the client's critical systems, ensuring robust controls and mitigations.
- Identify zero-day vulnerabilities and develop exploits to understand potential attack vectors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively reduce cybersecurity risks and enhance security postures.
- Develop and automate tools, incorporating AI (including Large Language Models and GenAI) to improve vulnerability discovery and validation processes.
- Lead investigations into the evolving threat landscape, providing strategic insights and innovative solutions.
- Engage with Cybersecurity Technology and Operations teams to integrate automation and AI into security assessment workflows.
- Follow operational controls and adhere to policies to effectively manage risks.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience of 7+ years in vulnerability research, exploitation, and security testing.
- Strong background in vulnerability discovery, exploit development, and penetration testing.
- Expertise in network security, embedded systems, and hardware hacking.
- Deep understanding of mobile technologies and common OS (Linux, Windows, Android, iOS).
- Experience with source code review, fuzzing, reverse engineering, and black box security review techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI/LLMs to optimize vulnerability detection and validation processes.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Participation in the cybersecurity community or industry contributions.
- Knowledge of wireless technology and AI for Security assessments.
- Leadership skills and stakeholder management experience.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
