As a Fullstack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution in the EMEA region, spearheading the modernization and optimization of payments-related services.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing, maintaining, and supporting back-end payment services using Java8>/Springboot
• Managing payment services portfolio hosted on Linux, Windows or serverless environments/platforms – at Cloud (Google, AWS, Azure or Ali) or on-premise hosting
• Creating and maintaining service-related interfaces and back-end solutions
• Documenting functional, technical, and business processes for supported services
• Utilizing version control and release management tools for code deployment
• Implementing Agile & DevOps methodologies for efficient project execution
• Designing and implementing integration layers and messaging protocols
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements
• Planning sprints, estimating tasks, and contributing to production support
• Embracing new technologies and advocating for their adoption

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of software development experience in Java 8>/Springboot, preferably in Financial Services
• Expertise in cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and Istio Service Mesh
• Knowledge of Spring / Angular / SQL / Oracle
• Proficiency in traditional technologies including Bash/Shell, Java or Groovy, Unix/Linux
• Experience in designing and maintaining distributed containerized platforms
• Ability to deliver CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments using various tools (using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, RTC, G3 and Nexus for artifact management and wherein the code release mechanism)
• Strong familiarity with Linux environments and REST/SOAP APIs
• Fluent English
• Capacity to thrive in an international environment and manage complex workloads
• Comfortable working with intricate technology architectures

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of front-end development using HTML5, JavaScript, Angular 2, NodeJS
• Proficiency in SQL and working within a banking environment
• Experience with front-end development technologies
• Prior experience working in a banking environment
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability to complex technology landscapes
