IT Business analyst (ITSM/ITIL)

As an IT Business Analyst, you will join the Technology Department of our client, in a project implementing a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) tool, and establishing related processes. This is a new project, and you’ll play a key role in documenting the “to-be” CMDB process and integrating it with existing IT systems.

Your main responsibilities: Build and document the CMDB configuration management process according to ITIL guidelines

• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the CMDB process
• Gather requirements and document IT services for configuration management and CMDB integration
• Collaborate with the project team from IT Governance, Infrastructure, the Technical Project Manager, and the supplier’s specialists

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
• 3+ years of experience with IT/ITSM/ITIL processes
• Strong understanding of IT service management principles, particularly ITIL configuration management
• Experience with CMDB tools a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (technical documentation and meetings with potential UK supplier representative)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
