As an IT Support Specialist, you will be working for our client, a prominent global financial institution, ensuring the successful delivery of technology and supporting IT operations in Spain. Your role involves maintaining technical operations, managing third-party relationships, and participating in major incident management. You will collaborate with local IT teams and key stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and benefits realization for the business.

Your main responsibilities: Acting as IT Service Owner for Spanish services with the assistance of the central ITSO factory

• Maintaining Golden Source data relevant to Spanish services
• Managing third-party relationships (requiring Spanish language skills)
• Participating in Major Incident Management, representing Spanish IT
• Maintaining Spain’s control environment
• Handling financial system technical operations
• Cooperating with the local IT team and liaising with local business and stakeholders

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proficiency in Spanish for third-party management
• Fluent English
• Strong analytical skills and lateral thinking
• Ability to work in a diverse international team
• Team player attitude and adaptability to changes
• Experience in developing or supporting customer-facing applications
• Knowledge of IT technologies and their operational environments

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Prior experience with financial systems technical operations
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
• Experience in major incident management
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience with control environment maintenance
