As a Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial services organization, on innovative projects aimed at enhancing their banking platforms and customer services. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to design, build, test, and implement scalable applications that support their operations and customer interactions. Your role will involve a blend of design, development, testing, and support tasks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participating in low-level design and contributing to partial design elements
• Coding according to specifications and writing unit tests
• Conducting peer reviews of design, code, test plans, and test results
• Assisting in setting up a stable and smooth SIT/UAT environment
• Writing and supporting SIT plans, conducting SIT, and fixing test bugs
• Providing UAT support and fixing test logs
• Preparing and assisting in pilot production release packages
• Providing post-implementation support

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience in designing highly scalable and supportable applications
• 3+ years’ experience in Java, Spring, JPA, Microservices, K8S, and SQL
• Familiarity with design patterns and UML
• An understanding of overall IT infrastructure
• Familiarity with Agile software development and the overall development process
• Fluent English
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven reporting skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks
• Prior experience in financial services or a similar industry
• Proficiency in other languages for global project support
