Mid-Level Data Engineer and Data Modeler – RDBMS and NoSQL

As a Mid-Level Data Engineer and Data Modeler, you will be working for our client, a global leader supporting diverse businesses and functions across regions. In this role, you will contribute to designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures that enable enterprise-wide data management, analytics, and AI-driven insights. Your main responsibilities:

• Implement business and IT data requirements through innovative data strategies across all data platforms (application, relational, dimensional, and NoSQL).
• Work closely with business and solution teams to develop, build, and refine conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and tools supporting enterprise data architecture.
• Identify architecture components, infrastructure, and interfaces supporting data sourcing, automated data loads, security, and analytics visualizations.
• Engage in hands-on modeling, design, configuration, performance tuning, and proof of concept activities.
• Proactively address project challenges, articulate issues, and reduce delivery risks through independent problem-solving.
• Oversee data architecture expansion and optimize query performance by applying best practices.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in relational, dimensional, and/or NoSQL data platforms, including ETL and data ingestion protocols.
• Strong knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and tools such as Erwin or Visual Paradigm.
• Excellent communication skills with good command of English (Communicative level).
• Experience in team collaboration, management, and presentation.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with MongoDB.
• Knowledge of data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center environments.

• English – Good command of spoken and written communication.
