Mid-Level Production Support Specialist – Banking Systems

As a Mid-Level Production Support Specialist, you will be working for our client within the banking industry, focusing on critical client onboarding and reporting systems. Your efforts will ensure seamless operation, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of vital financial services, empowering the future of banking technology.

Your main responsibilities:

• Provide production support for PB Client Onboarding and PB Client Reporting systems, ensuring operational stability.
• Analyze incidents and collaborate with development teams to develop effective solutions.
• Manage Incidents and Problem Records within ServiceNow, applying a problem coordinator approach.
• Support ongoing technical and process enhancements in partnership with Support, DevOps, and SRE teams.
• Respond promptly to system alerts and take proactive actions to prevent disruptions.
• Support system maintenance and releases during non-office hours, including weekends.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support, DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Solid technological background with experience managing incidents, problem records, and change requests.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, AWS, Azure, Java, or Linux.
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit and risk awareness.
• Inquisitive nature with a desire to understand root causes of issues.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Previous experience or relationships within HSBC, especially within GCB or GPBW teams.

Language Required for the role:

• Good command of English, communicative level.
