Project Manager Data Remediation

Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 60% remote.

As a Project Manager Data Remediation, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. You will play a key role in leading high-complexity projects related to data issue resolution, regulatory compliance, and product development roadmaps. Your main objective is to drive the execution of the Data Issue Fix (Finance) programme using Agile methodology, ensuring seamless alignment with the company’s wider change portfolio and strategic objectives.

Your main responsibilities: Managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy

  • Partnering with the Programme Manager and Portfolio Management team to coordinate project execution
  • Leading change initiatives and implementing project governance in line with established frameworks
  • Overseeing Agile project execution, collaborating with Scrum Masters to facilitate Agile ceremonies
  • Identifying, escalating, and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Managing project scope, requirements, schedule, budget, and benefits to ensure successful delivery
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships across different markets and business groups
  • Providing leadership within the project team and setting clear performance expectations
  • Collaborating with data analysts and governance teams to drive change implementation
  • Ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements throughout project execution

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in a complex global environment
  • Strong understanding of data management, regulatory reporting, and financial services
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale projects within a change environment
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, from analysts to executive level
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Hands-on experience in Agile project and product development methodologies
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and drive results
  • Attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work within a global matrix organization and adapt to cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with financial industry standards, frameworks, and regulatory obligations

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Agile certifications such as SAFe or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with financial institution standards and processes
  • Background in financial data remediation or governance projects
  • Experience leading data transformation initiatives
  • Proficiency in project management tools and frameworks
