As a Java+React Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on enhancing customer interactions through innovative IT solutions. The Wholesale Client Services IT Team is dedicated to developing and maintaining systems that streamline banking processes for a diverse range of wholesale customers. This international team offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with professionals across different geographies, fostering a rich, multicultural work environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participating in all aspects of software delivery alongside team members
• Implementing assigned modules and providing technical solutions and designs
• Supporting issue resolution using best practices in maintenance and production support
• Liaising with product owners and SMEs to understand business requirements for development sprints
• Collaborating with the architecture team to deliver solutions that meet business needs and timelines
• Coordinating with stakeholders from various locations to ensure focused delivery
• Utilizing tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, RTC, G3, and Nexus for artifact management and code releases
• Following Agile and DevOps methodologies using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of Java 8+
• Good knowledge of React JS
• Ability to debug existing code, extend functionality, and fix issues
• Understanding of microservice architecture and experience writing REST APIs
• Proficiency in writing tests to verify functionalities and endpoints
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling
• Consideration for implementing security around functionalities, services, and endpoints
• Motivation to participate in platform improvement initiatives like performance and production stability
• Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and rapid learning capability
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in DevOps PODs and providing production support when needed
• Good knowledge of database schema design, with PostgreSQL experience
