Junior IPC Developer

Design and create a Data Warehouse for one of the most innovative banks in Poland!

Warsaw based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Junior IPC Developer, you will be working for our client, a prominent player in online banking. The project entails active involvement in the enhancement and maintenance of data warehouses and information systems. You’ll collaborate closely with the development team to design and implement changes in IT systems, primarily utilizing Informatica technologies.

Your main responsibilities: Participating in project and implementation work for the development of data warehouses and information systems

• Designing changes in IT systems based on Informatica technologies
• Actively participating in internal software tests
• Creating and updating technical and functional documentation
• Improving data quality in systems and applications extracted to data warehouses
• Assisting in reviewing technical specifications and project documentation prepared by third-party teams
• Preparing software acceptances and participating in system handovers.
• Testing IT solutions
• Collaborating with end-users (business) to gather and analyze requirements for data in new solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience in implementing and deploying ETL solutions using Informatica Power Center (IPC) or Informatica Cloud
• Experience in data warehouse programming
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Independence, goal orientation, and consistency in completing assigned tasks
• Excellent organizational skills, quick learning ability, and teamwork
• Strong communication skills, curiosity, and negotiation ability
• Problem-solving skills and ability to react quickly
• Analytical thinking and precise formulation of statements
• Proficiency in English enabling work with technical documentation and literature
• Ability to work under time pressure, including coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Practical experience in programming data warehouses and information systems for financial institutions or similar entities
• Knowledge of Snowflake technology and Oracle databases
• Ability to collaborate with business clients as well as internal and external suppliers
• Familiarity with business and system requirement analysis for IT systems
• Experience in designing, implementing, and deploying analytical reporting solutions based on BI platforms
• Practical knowledge of at least one CASE tool
• Experience working in a matrix structure
