Warsaw-based opportunity with possibility to work partly remote

As a Junior Project Manager (Assistant), you will work for our Client – The EU’s leading bank and key player on the international banking scene, operating in 72 countries. You will join a brand new, state-of-the-art, technology and development Hub created to bring together the strongest players in the IT market. Together with the global team, you will be working on complex projects with high market priority, related to German financial services.

Your main responsibilities: Assisting experienced Project Managers

  • Support creating calculations and reports as well as analyzing changes
  • Support creating and continuous control of KPIs for productivity, quality and responsiveness in operations, as well as methodological responsibility for the creation of these KPIs
  • Support setting up and continually adapting a data pool in collaboration with the relevant data stakeholders
  • Support coordinating and consolidating of budget and forecast planning for operations in close cooperation with those responsible for cost centers
  • Support creating a performance orientation and KPI awareness in the area as well as anchoring KPIs in the operations strategy
  • Support deriving strategic recommendations for action from historical and forecast cost, productivity and quality developments within operations
  • Support developing information and decision templates for management
  • Support ensuring initiation of appropriate improvement measures for operations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Great communication skills, independency
  • Management / financial studies
  • Proactivity
  • Organisation skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office 365 – Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Ability to approach topics with open mind
  • Willingness to constantly learn and develop
  • Fluent English and German

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Past experience as a Project Manager
  • Practical understanding of phased models and tools (road maps, critical paths, budgeting and cost monitoring, scheduling, risk monitoring
