Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the officre/month)
As a .NET Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading company in the financial sector, contributing to the development and implementation of advanced IT systems. You will collaborate closely with business users, analyze requirements, design and develop robust applications, and ensure system performance and reliability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in technical documentation, testing, and optimization, while driving innovation and efficiency across multiple projects.
Your main responsibilities: Conducting project and implementation work in IT systems based on Oracle technologies
- Collaborating with end-users (business users) in gathering and analyzing requirements regarding data placed in a new solution; particularly the need to detail general tasks and business concepts
- Actively participating in internal software testing
- Creating and updating technical and functional system documentation
- Collaborating on developing new solutions and setting development directions
- Implementing measures to improve data quality in systems and applications exporting data to data warehouses
- Supporting in reviewing technical specifications and project, technical, and administrative documentation prepared by third-party teams
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3 years of programming experience with C#, .NET (including version 4.5), WCF, and SQL
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 and automated testing processes
- Knowledge of software design patterns and OOP principles
- Experience in developing web applications and financial information systems
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and goal-oriented mindset
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in English for reading technical documentation
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Basic knowledge of UX design
- Familiarity with AGILE, XP methodologies
- Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle databases
- Practical experience with at least one CASE tool, e.g., Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, and knowledge of UML
- Experience working in a matrix structure
- Knowledge of ITIL
