PL/SQL Developer

As a PL/SQL Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading provider of comprehensive insurance solutions, focusing on the development and maintenance of their core systems. You will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of their data processing capabilities, contributing to the smooth operation of their property insurance services. This role demands a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively within an agile environment, and apply analytical thinking to resolve complex technical challenges.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and maintain PL/SQL based systems using Oracle technology

• Design and implement efficient database solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within Oracle environments
• Collaborate with team members in an agile SCRUM methodology
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Implement and test new features and enhancements
• Optimize existing PL/SQL code for performance
• Support the integration of PL/SQL applications with other systems
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processesn

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining systems based on Oracle technology
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle Forms
• Very good work organization skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team using agile SCRUM methodology
• Ability to think analytically and create non-standard solutions
• Experience in working within the property insurance domain
• Experience in developing TIA insurance systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
