Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).
As a PMO Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undertaking a large-scale data analytics initiative within its technology division. This role supports project governance, resource coordination, and financial oversight in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient portfolio management, and timely delivery of data-related projects. Your contributions will help align strategic business goals with operational execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data insights and enhanced project control mechanisms.
Your main responsibilities: Collaborating closely with Business, Finance, and PMO teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment
- Preparing and submitting actuals, accruals, and financial forecasts within agreed deadlines
- Analyzing forecast versus actual spend and preparing monthly financial commentary
- Monitoring and reporting on financial status against project deliverables
- Updating financial and project management systems in a timely manner
- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding efforts for the data analytics team
- Managing portfolio data and supporting regular stakeholder updates
- Overseeing and updating project documentation and governance materials
- Facilitating risk and issue tracking in relation to project financials
- Coordinating programme-level reporting activities and project reviews
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience in a Project Management Office or similar environment
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Solid experience with financial tracking and reporting within projects
- Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly and concisely
- Experience preparing project management reports (e.g., finance, cost, progress, RAID)
- High attention to detail and a proactive, self-driven mindset
- Competence in managing multiple stakeholders and handling ad-hoc requests
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Familiarity with resource and portfolio management
- Ability to maintain and update documentation and internal tools regularly
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of financial systems used in large corporations
- Experience working in a technology or data analytics environment
- Familiarity with forecasting methodologies and variance analysis
- Prior involvement in supporting recruitment or team ramp-up activities
- Exposure to risk and issue management processes
