Opportunity based in Warsaw for a 100% remote job

As AWS Developer you will work on a project providing critical functionality for Redispatch 2.0 regulations and the Grid Expansion Acceleration Act (NABEG), including data collection and sharing with the Connect+ platform for grid congestion management. As a technical expert, you will implement solutions for nomination, dispatching, scheduling, and position management of electricity and gas across European markets, document requirements, manage system selection and tendering processes, and ensure successful integration and implementation.

Your main responsibilities: End-to-end implementation of energy solutions

• Further development of an existing software solution
• Execution or implementation of changes, configuration, and adaptations
• Operational support (Tier 3) for the components in operation
• Providing 24/7 support following a telephone alert from Tier 1 or Tier 2 Support, if assistance from a DevOps developer is require

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience in designing highly scalable and supportable applications
• 3+ years’ experience in Java, Spring, JPA, Microservices, K8S, and SQL
• Familiarity with design patterns and UML
• An understanding of overall IT infrastructure
• Familiarity with Agile software development and the overall development process
• Fluent English
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Redispatch 2.0 and the Grid Expansion Acceleration Act (NABEG)
• Experience with energy market operations, particularly in nomination, dispatching, scheduling, and position management
• Familiarity with system selection and tendering processes
• DevOps experience and the ability to provide 24/7 support
