Business Analyst

Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 70% remotely!

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, on a large transformational program in the Wholesale Credit & Lending area. Your role will be crucial in defining the analysis approach and end-to-end interface journey, ensuring seamless integration processes, and providing sound consultancy that adds value. You will collaborate within a multi-skilled team to achieve project goals, bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Defining the most appropriate analysis approach to problems and opportunities
  • Eliciting, analyzing, validating, documenting, and prioritizing business and system requirements
  • Developing and deploying standardized end-to-end integration processes across the region
  • Performing root cause analysis of failure elements and recommending improvements
  • Conducting technical analysis to understand the link between system changes and business processes
  • Defining solution designs for non-technology projects and supporting IT with technology elements
  • Performing business requirements definition and gap analysis
  • Defining and documenting technical data maps for transformation protocols between systems
  • Writing user stories for Agile teams to work from
  • Ensuring full business engagement in the Agile development process

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Experience working on integration projects and change management
  • Previous experience as an IT Business Analyst or Business Consultant
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
  • A track record of constantly seeking ways to improve processes
  • The ability to build effective networks and create collaborative opportunities
  • The ability to handle complex commercial information and business challenges
  • Skills to understand and interpret straightforward financial data
  • A combined set of good interpersonal skills and business/technology knowledge
  • Utilized business analysis methods, tools, and techniques
  • Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience in financial services
  • Role-relevant qualifications such as Six Sigma, ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis, or CBAP
  • Commercial lending experience
