Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 3 day/per week remotly.

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing a major digital transformation within its Chief Technology Office. You will support the design and implementation of technology resilience solutions that underpin stable, secure, and scalable banking services used by millions worldwide. This is a hybrid role requiring both a strategic and hands-on approach, working across complex infrastructure portfolios to analyze, design, and embed operational models aligned with regulatory and risk frameworks. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline processes and improve technological robustness.

Your main responsibilities: Gathering and refining business requirements by facilitating workshops and impact assessments

  • Mapping current and future state processes using tools like MS Visio and Confluence
  • Defining and documenting the Target Operating Model (TOM) for technology resilience
  • Leading user story creation under BDD and refining with architecture and risk teams
  • Managing stakeholders across IT, risk, and business functions to gain consensus on requirements
  • Conducting options analysis and data mapping to support design decisions
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinating with development teams
  • Challenging inefficient controls and driving continuous improvement in process design
  • Communicating progress and analysis outputs to senior management through reports and presentations
  • Collaborating with Control Owners to maintain governance and compliance artifacts

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communicating effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Managing complex stakeholder relationships across regions and functions
  • Showing initiative and autonomy in unfamiliar or dynamic project environments
  • Understanding Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
  • Applying knowledge of technology infrastructure and IT risk and control frameworks
  • Prioritizing tasks and managing time in a fast-paced environment
  • Documenting business processes and system requirements with high accuracy
  • Creating impactful presentations and documentation for senior stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Bringing experience with infrastructure or large-scale technology transformation projects
  • Using Jira and Confluence for requirements management and collaboration
  • Applying knowledge of operational risk or control frameworks
  • Working knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and system lifecycle methodologies
  • Previous experience in a financial services environment
  • Holding IT Service Management certification (e.g., ITIL)
  • Using MS Visio for process flow mapping
  • Experience with business transformation frameworks
  • Familiarity with cyber and information security concepts
