Business Object Developer

Warsaw or Cracow based opportunity with possibility to work 3-4 days a week remotely.

As a Business Object Developer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in corporate and investment banking with operations spanning over 70 countries. You will join a data analytics team that supports business decision-making through robust BI solutions. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable reporting systems that ensure data accuracy, performance, and usability. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights while playing a key part in optimizing data workflows and enhancing the analytical capabilities of the organization.

Your main responsibilities: Design and implement Business Objects solutions including Universe design and report development

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop interactive dashboards and optimize existing reports for better performance
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of BI outputs through thorough testing and validation
• Support users in understanding and leveraging Business Objects tools
• Optimize data models and structures to enhance reporting efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in reports and universes
• Contribute to the evolution of BI capabilities by staying updated on industry trends
• Document BI solutions and ensure compliance with internal standards
• Assist in improving processes related to data access and reporting

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Business Objects, including Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques
• Strong understanding of relational databases and reporting best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Ability to translate business needs into efficient technical solutions
• Experience in optimizing report performance and usability
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
• Motivation to learn and explore new BI tools and techniques
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
