Fullstack Java Developer

As a Fullstack Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a prominent leader in the online banking industry, within their Security Department. You’ll play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable banking applications. Your contributions will focus on developing both frontend and backend solutions that enhance user experience and uphold rigorous security standards. This role is ideal for a developer with a proactive approach, analytical mindset, and a strong commitment to producing high-quality, thoroughly tested code.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and maintain frontend components using AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

• Implement backend solutions with Java, Spring Framework, and JEE
• Ensure compatibility and optimal performance across JBoss and Oracle environments
• Write and maintain unit and functional tests for frontend components, focusing on automation with Protractor
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on development goals and project requirements
• Utilize tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, GIT, and JIRA for effective code management and issue tracking
• Apply secure coding practices to protect applications against potential vulnerabilities
• Participate in software deployment processes for production systems
• Follow agile methodologies to enhance team productivity and ensure timely delivery
• Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing code

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in fullstack Java development
• Proficiency in AngularJS with a minimum of 1 year of experience, along with strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and JEE for backend development
• Hands-on experience with JBoss and Oracle databases
• Familiarity with development tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, GIT, and JIRA
• An analytical approach to solving problems and developing features
• Experience in writing and maintaining unit and functional tests, particularly in frontend areas using Protractor
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Previous participation in software deployment processes
