Warsaw-based opportunity to work in hybrid model

As a Gitlab Specialist (DevOps), you will be working for our client, a global provider of financial infrastructure and services supporting banking institutions and stock exchanges. The project involves maintaining and optimizing GitLab platforms to ensure robust software development workflows across geographically distributed teams.

Your main responsibilities: Manage and maintain GitLab instances including installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting

  • Plan and execute migrations of repositories, pipelines, and user configurations between GitLab environments
  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Oversee repository creation and branching strategies for streamlined collaboration
  • Monitor GitLab performance and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Integrate GitLab with tools like Jira, Jenkins, and Docker
  • Create and update documentation related to GitLab administration and best practices
  • Provide technical support and guidance to development teams
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements in all GitLab operations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 4–6 years of experience with GitLab administration
  • 4–6 years of experience working with Unix systems
  • 1–3 years of experience with Azure cloud environments
  • Strong expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
  • Experience with programming/application development at a good level
  • Experience providing help desk or technical support
  • Very good English skills
  • GitLab certification (preferred)
