As an IAM Programme Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, leading the delivery of critical Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing complex change programs that ensure robust controls for joiner, mover, and leaver processes, access recertification, role management, authentication, and privileged access. By coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders, you will drive the successful execution of the IAM strategy, while ensuring compliance with global standards, managing risks, and supporting the organization’s broader cybersecurity and risk management framework.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of IAM programs
  • Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and interdependencies
  • Driving the adoption of IAM controls, including access management and recertification processes
  • Communicating progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders and steering committees
  • Overseeing project governance and ensuring compliance with Client’s standards
  • Supporting risk management and control effectiveness throughout the IAM lifecycle
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and virtual networks to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Ensuring the successful realization of business benefits from IAM program implementations
  • Preparing reports and recommendations to support decision-making and drive program success
  • Facilitating impactful communication and stakeholder management across the organization

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Extensive experience managing large, complex projects in banking and IT environments
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and IAM compliance standards
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management controls and frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and project managers effectively
  • Expertise in risk-based project management methodologies and best practices
  • Experience in delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including governance and change management
  • Ability to influence decision-making at senior levels and manage complex technical challenges
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to lead diverse teams
  • Certifications such as CISA, CISM

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile PSM1
  • Experience with benefits realization and managing IAM program outcomes
  • Familiarity with global regulatory requirements for IAM controls
