Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (1-2 days in the office/month).

As an IT Analyst you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on innovative digital solutions designed to enhance customer experiences and modernize internal systems. You will support key banking projects by bridging business needs and technical implementation, contributing to system improvements and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The role involves close cooperation with business units and IT teams, focusing on process optimization, requirements gathering, and end-to-end project coordination in a dynamic, agile environment.

Your main responsibilities: Gathering business and system requirements for ongoing projects (for various clients within the bank)

  • Conducting workshops and analyzing business processes
  • Designing and consulting on solutions to be implemented in banking systems (including wireframing/prototyping in Figma)
  • Preparing project documentation
  • Close cooperation with business units and IT development teams
  • Preparing and documenting user stories (in close collaboration with business stakeholders, PMs, POs, etc.), including specifying software changes
  • Ongoing support for system users, coordinating tests and deployments
  • Collaboratively creating and improving standards in our area (topic-specific guilds)

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Several years of professional experience as a business-system analyst (experience as a lead analyst is a plus)
  • Practical experience in preparing and defining changes in IT systems
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques that support requirement gathering
  • Willingness to continuously develop skills and gain knowledge in the tech field
  • Understanding of application design according to UX/UI best practices
  • Familiarity with best practices in software design, implementation, and SDLC-related topics
  • Commitment to teamwork and shared goal achievement
  • Close collaboration with the business side and leading workshops
  • Highly developed communication skills (with both business stakeholders and development teams)

It’s a big plus if you have:

  • Understanding of BPM-class system architecture
  • Experience in business and IT projects within the banking/financial sector
  • Experience using Atlassian tools to support analysis (Confluence, Jira)
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, REST, MQ, Kafka
  • Practical experience using SQL
  • Experience configuring BPM-class systems
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
