Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a IT Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undertaking a transformative initiative to enhance their data and analytics capabilities. You will be guiding cross-functional teams through the Agile process while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence. The project involves scaling agile practices across international teams and coordinating complex data-driven solutions. You’ll ensure smooth Agile delivery by eliminating impediments, driving collaboration, and maintaining strong communication between stakeholders and the team in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Your main responsibilities: Facilitating Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews

  • Collaborating with product owners to prioritise and refine the product backlog
  • Supporting the team in identifying and removing impediments
  • Tracking progress using Agile metrics and information radiators
  • Leading release and sprint planning in coordination with other Agile teams
  • Guiding the team on Agile principles and promoting self-organisation
  • Supporting product visioning and story splitting with product owners
  • Managing risks and issues proactively and escalating when necessary
  • Maintaining Agile tools such as story boards, action boards, and backlogs
  • Communicating project status, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in Agile Scrum environments, especially in global teams
  • 7+ years of project management experience in system, infrastructure, or cloud projects
  • Proven ability to manage risks and lead issue resolution effectively
  • Strong servant leadership, stakeholder management, and team facilitation skills
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, metrics, and artefacts
  • Experience with release and sprint planning across multiple Agile teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Background in the Data & Analytics domain, ideally in financial services
  • Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, business, or related field

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Hands-on experience with Agile reporting tools and dashboards
  • Experience in business analysis and familiarity with data tools like SQL
  • Knowledge of user story mapping and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) planning
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms
  • Experience delivering analytics solutions in highly regulated industries
