IT Security Architect

Warsaw-based with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As an IT Security Architect you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on safeguarding the company’s IT systems and applications. You will be responsible for vulnerability scanning, risk assessment, and the development of secure standards. Your role will involve designing and automating security processes, participating in vulnerability testing projects, and ensuring compliance with security regulations. You will collaborate with teams to promote best practices in IT security and continuously enhance your skills to protect systems against emerging cyber threats.

Your main responsibilities: Prepare, perform, and document vulnerability scans

• Coordinate the process of addressing identified vulnerabilities
• Develop and improve techniques for conducting vulnerability tests
• Participate in projects focused on vulnerability testing of IT systems
• Promote, consult, and recommend best practices in IT security
• Enhance personal knowledge of vulnerabilities in new IT technologies
• Develop assumptions for cybersecurity risk assessment and evaluation
• Conduct cybersecurity risk analysis, especially in the area of vulnerabilities
• Monitor and analyze threats and defenses in cybersecurity
• Design, develop, and automate reports related to vulnerability scan results
• Monitoring security regulations, standards, and norms and supporting their implementation in the bank
• Developing and updating internal security standards

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Practical knowledge of security issues in at least one area: application and mobile device security, web application security, or infrastructure security
• Experience with tools supporting the security scanning process (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, Nexpose, Tenable, Qualys)
• Ability to formulate logical conclusions and express ideas clearly in writing
• Strong self-discipline for effective remote work
• Strong teamwork, openness, and communication skills
• Familiarity with English sufficient to understand technical documentation
