As an IT Service Owner, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, governance, and continuous improvement of IT services. This dynamic position allows you to engage with diverse stakeholders, manage IT lifecycle phases, and contribute to maintaining robust and compliant IT services. The role provides opportunities for professional growth, collaboration across various teams, and involvement in exciting projects and programs.
Your main responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end IT application and service lifecycle, including Development, UAT, Production, and Contingency
- Ensuring successful operation and continuous improvement of IT services
- Adhering to governance processes and compliance with IT Controls, FIM requirements, and related procedures
- Proactively planning service requirements, including capacity upgrades and evergreening, and communicating service performance benefits to stakeholders
- Acting as the escalation point for service-related tasks requested by stakeholders and other functions
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including Service Owners, Risk & Control Officers, Infrastructure Leads, and Cyber Security teams
- Delegating and consolidating requests for information or reviews within the team
- Maintaining accurate service and application data in inventory tools through regular reviews
- Prioritizing remediation of issues and ensuring compliance with IT controls
- Performing additional duties as assigned
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk (senior level), IT Service Management, Infrastructure/Software support, or Project Management
- Strong understanding of ITIL methodologies, especially in Service Continuity, Change, Incident, and Problem management
- Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to change
- Basic knowledge of IT technologies, including Windows, Linux, databases such as Oracle, and Java
- Ability to perform under pressure and deliver quality work within tight deadlines
- Quick learning ability, self-motivation, and strong team collaboration skills
- Fluent English
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Communicative knowledge of German or French
- ITIL, Project Management (PRINCE2/PMP), or other IT-related certifications
