As a Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in banking and financial services, enhancing their comprehensive suite of online financial solutions. The client’s technology platform supports a vast array of commercial banking customers and is undergoing significant modernization. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the Client’s platform, focusing on delivering high-quality code and technical solutions that drive the evolution of their digital banking services.

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyzing requirements and user experience designs
• Developing and reviewing technical designs
• Coding according to specifications and best practices
• Conducting reviews of design, code, test plans, and results
• Providing post-development support and troubleshooting issues
• Participating in feasibility studies and requirement analysis
• Planning, analyzing, and designing solutions adhering to standards
• Validating estimations and suggesting improvements
• Refactoring and optimizing existing code for performance
• Ensuring application compliance with accepted architecture and standards

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 8-12 years of experience with Spring Boot, MULE, MongoDB, and Core Java
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, RAML, and JavaScripts
• Knowledge of MongoDB processing and GCP technology
• Proficiency in UI and mainframe technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
• Ability to perform end-to-end impact analysis and create high/low-level designs
• Experience in production support processes and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a global virtual team

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of banking payment systems and corporate payments
• Familiarity with incident/problem/change and release management
• Experience with payment tracking and Swift Payments tracking
• Understanding of ITSO activities like patching, DR activities, and vulnerability management
