Optimize and Automate: Oracle DevOps Opportunity in a Leading Bank!

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (1 day in the office/week)

As an Oracle DevOps Specialist, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in the banking sector. In this role, you will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the client’s card system, ensuring seamless application deployment and server/database performance tuning. Your expertise will support the configuration management of Oracle databases and Unix/Linux servers, while also analyzing and resolving issues in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Your main responsibilities: Maintain the card system and ensure its smooth operation

• Implement new application versions and automate deployments
• Manage server and Oracle database configurations
• Optimize performance of servers, databases, and SQL/PL SQL queries
• Define data loading processes
• Analyze and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
• Use tools like Ansible, Tower, Kibana, and Grafana to enhance system performance
• Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate tasks
• Monitor and manage the system’s health and security

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proficiency in Oracle databases
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience in solving performance issues and practical knowledge of database tuning tools
• Familiarity with Ansible, Tower, Kibana, Grafana, and GIT
• Expertise in Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting
• Good command of the English language
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
• Experience in automating deployment processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with external vendors
