As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution driving data integrity and regulatory compliance within their Data & Analytics Office. You will be responsible for planning, mobilising, and delivering large-scale projects focused on improving data governance and reporting standards, particularly under the Integrity of Regulatory Reporting programme. This position is key to ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while coordinating cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of data governance projects
- Managing project scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery
- Overseeing risks, issues, and dependencies and escalating them as needed
- Collaborating with Programme Managers and Portfolio teams to align projects with overall strategy
- Managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication at all levels
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Ensuring regulatory reporting improvements through data usage controls
- Supervising teams, providing leadership and guidance to drive project success
- Monitoring project performance and reporting progress to senior management
- Ensuring adherence to Client’s Change Framework and regulatory requirements
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within a large, global environment
- Extensive project management experience, particularly in regulatory reporting
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of data governance, particularly in a financial services context
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, from executive level to operational teams
- Proficiency in risk management and problem-solving in complex environments
- Impeccable verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with financial services industry standards and regulations
- Fluent English
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Agile certifications, such as SAFe
- Familiarity with financial institutions internal processes and project management frameworks
- Experience working within a global matrix organization
