As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing strategic cybersecurity transformation. You are leading high-impact change initiatives that strengthen risk controls, align with enterprise IT strategies, and drive operational resilience. The role involves end-to-end project ownership, from defining business outcomes and building the business case, to overseeing execution and benefit realization. You are coordinating across regions and functions, translating complex security requirements into actionable plans, and ensuring alignment with global governance frameworks and delivery standards in a high-stakes, regulated environment.

Your main responsibilities: Defining and designing project scope aligned with cybersecurity strategy

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to capture and trace requirements throughout delivery
  • Initiating formal change processes and securing agreement on “contracts of change”
  • Monitoring and reporting project progress against plans and business objectives
  • Managing project budgets, risks, and dependencies
  • Ensuring delivery of outputs into operational use to realize expected benefits
  • Coordinating governance activities and preparing inputs for Steering Committees
  • Supporting resource planning across project teams and ensuring alignment
  • Ensuring quality assurance practices are embedded in all phases of delivery
  • Resolving project issues and driving corrective actions where necessary

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience managing large-scale cybersecurity or IT transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile)
  • Experience delivering change in complex financial services or regulated environments
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across global teams
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity principles
  • Familiarity with performance evaluation and change management techniques
  • Experience building business cases and overseeing benefits realization
  • Knowledge of project governance, risk, and dependency management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and ownership-driven approach to work

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with cybersecurity control frameworks (e.g. NIST FSS)
  • Understanding of enterprise-level tools such as Helios or similar systems
  • Exposure to global portfolios with cross-functional business engagement
  • Background in cyber risk quantification and controls mapping
