Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 60% remote.

As a Scrum Master, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, committed to transforming its data management and analytics. You will be part of a dynamic team working on a high-profile Data Privacy Programme, focusing on Key Control MI design and deployment. Your role will be pivotal in implementing Agile practices, guiding teams through the transition from Waterfall to Agile, and ensuring delivery of business value. The client offers a collaborative and innovative environment, providing you with ample opportunities for growth and development.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Managing the relationship with Product Owner and stakeholders to align activities with broader programme goals
  • Facilitating and managing pods to deliver in an agile manner, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Leading and coaching teams through agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, reviews, and PI planning events
  • Shielding the team from interruptions during sprints to maintain agile process flow
  • Unblocking impediments and resolving concerns with line management and departments
  • Navigating complex environments, including legacy systems, to ensure effective agile process implementation
  • Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders during the transition to Agile methodologies
  • Leading the transformation to Agile Scrum, tailoring best practices to enhance collaboration and delivery
  • Setting performance expectations for teams, monitoring progress, and providing motivational leadership
  • Fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the teams

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Experience in financial services, especially in data-related change and service delivery
  • Expertise in applying Agile and Scrum practices, particularly during a transition from Waterfall
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience working with various agile frameworks, including Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and Design Thinking
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate Agile and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, both IT and business
  • Fluent English
  • Active participation in Agile and Scrum communities
  • Exposure to working within a global matrix organization

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SAFe or similar)
  • A proactive mindset for driving change and continuous improvement
  • Background in product development or service delivery in financial services
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex environments
