As a Seeburger Specialist, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services. The client is committed to providing seamless services that empower businesses worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting critical production systems, ensuring their smooth operation, and resolving incidents quickly and effectively. You’ll be part of a globally distributed team, working with cutting-edge technologies like Seeburger, Java, and IBM SFG. Your efforts will directly contribute to the efficiency and stability of the client’s financial services infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities:
- Investigating system failures and incidents reported on the services supported
- Communicating with various business and IT teams to resolve issues
- Providing on-call support and ensuring timely incident resolution
- Performing root-cause analysis for production issues
- Working as part of a global team to deliver consistent service
- Ensuring adherence to SLAs and service delivery procedures defined by ITIL
- Coordinating with internal and external teams for service delivery
- Continuously improving processes and contributing to service excellence
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders
- Monitoring system performance using tools like AppDynamics and Splunk
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience as a Production Technical Support Engineer
- Expertise in Seeburger BIS, Java, and IBM SFG (Sterling Integrator)
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux/Windows environments
- Hands-on experience with AppDynamics/Splunk or similar monitoring tools
- Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Databases and SQL
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture and service management processes
- ITIL Accreditation or relevant service management certifications
- Fluent English
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Banking Transaction Systems and the Banking Domain
- Exposure to production services support tools
- Familiarity with Incident/Problem/Change Management procedures
- Understanding of logging and monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Splunk
- Knowledge of APIs and Cloud platforms
- Exposure to Java-based applications in a financial services environment
- Experience working in a multi-site, globally distributed team
- A proactive approach to service improvement and customer satisfaction
- Ability to multitask efficiently across different projects and priorities
