System Analyst

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (1 day per week in the office).

As a System Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution that provides innovative solutions to streamline customer service operations. You will be part of a team enhancing a web-based internal application used by branch and contact center employees to manage daily banking interactions. The role focuses on designing scalable, customer-centric functionalities and supporting the development of modern system architectures. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment within the banking sector.

Your key responsibilities: Build processes and functionalities in the internal web application

• Design solutions with a strong understanding of user needs and customer satisfaction
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements
• Model IT systems and define integration points
• Create and maintain documentation for developed features
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and business analysts in Agile teams
• Design microservices-based solutions
• Validate implemented functionalities against requirements
• Support the definition and evolution of system architecture
• Use tools like Jira and Confluence to manage project activities

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Higher education in IT or related fields
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a system analyst in IT projects
• Ability to analyze customer needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Experience with integration concepts and tools (REST, SOAP, SoapUI, Postman, Swagger)
• Proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with Kibana for log analysis
• Knowledge of microservices architecture principles
• Proficiency in UML and system modeling techniques
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Good command of English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect (or other CASE tool)
• Ability to read source code with understanding in C# or other object-oriented language
