As a Technical Project Manager (Azure), you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution dedicated to enhancing their digital infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in leading a complex Azure tenant migration project, ensuring that the transition is seamless and aligns with industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to drive the project forward, leveraging your technical and project management expertise to navigate challenges in a highly regulated environment.

Your main responsibilities: Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders

• Developing detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management protocols
• Tracking and reporting on migration progress, addressing any technical challenges that arise
• Serving as the primary contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues
• Facilitating effective communication among technical teams, business units, and external partners
• Identifying potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and developing mitigation strategies
• Monitoring project progress and adapting plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery
• Providing in-depth technical guidance and support to the project team, leveraging extensive knowledge of Azure services, architecture, and best practices
• Overseeing the design, implementation, and deployment of Azure-based solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
• Ensuring technical solutions adhere to best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience managing Azure projects, with an in-depth understanding of Azure services, architecture, and best practices
• Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile and Kanban methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment, particularly in highly regulated sectors like finance or healthcare
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle
• Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and best practices
• Technical proficiency in Azure services, with a strong understanding of security and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful completion

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Relevant Azure and/or PM certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
• Familiarity with DevOps, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS concepts
