Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Product Control Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, on a program aimed at enhancing processes and technology infrastructure for the Markets Treasury Product Control and Hedge Accounting functions. You will collaborate with regional hedging units, finance change teams, and IT to support project delivery, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with best practices. Your role will involve conducting business analysis, coordinating system testing, and ensuring seamless integration of changes into daily operations while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Your main responsibilities: Producing high-quality project analysis covering data, operating models, process mapping, and benefit validation

  • Working closely with the local product control team to assess the impact of change requirements on daily activities
  • Documenting changes required for business adoption in alignment with change frameworks
  • Acting as the business lead during the system testing phase, ensuring finance requirements are covered
  • Coordinating finance elements of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ensuring completion of assigned tasks within agreed timelines and project plans
  • Liaising with finance, product control, and IT teams to confirm requirements, analysis, testing, and business delivery
  • Providing written business project documentation to a high standard
  • Assisting in analyzing, designing, and testing solutions to meet confirmed requirements
  • Maintaining internal control standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in business analysis within finance or product control functions
  • Strong knowledge of Markets Treasury products and system requirements
  • Experience in process mapping, operating model analysis, and benefit validation
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks and methodologies
  • Ability to coordinate system testing and UAT for financial applications
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with global teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work on multiple workstreams with tight deadlines
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience in finance transformation or system migration projects
  • Knowledge of hedge accounting principles and their implementation
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Experience working with finance IT teams on system enhancements
  • Exposure to global finance operations and regulatory environments
  • Experience in Jira and Confluence
