Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).
As a Programme Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to enhancing their Core Enterprise Platforms (CEP) to drive technology strategy and savings delivery. You will play a critical role in managing commercial software agreements, optimizing application consumption, and ensuring alignment with technology controls, resilience capabilities, and governance processes. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing internal chargeback processes and improving reporting systems while fostering innovation through the implementation of new technologies
Your main responsibilities: Executing long-term commercial objectives for Core Enterprise Platforms (CEP)
- Reviewing and assessing third-party technology risk management, resilience, governance, and risk management processes
- Monitoring software licensing risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Overseeing IBM I/Z asset management and enhancing internal chargeback processes
- Educating Application Resources on optimization processes and tools
- Monitoring consumption usage and tracking against software agreements
- Analyzing IBM Z/I consumption for management insights
- Coordinating technical changes within the CEP domain and related technologies
- Proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigating plans
- Ensuring compliance with relevant controls and standards
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Significant experience in software, capacity, and chargeback management
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- Proven experience with IBM z/I hardware and software environments
- Experience managing Broadcom, IBM, and Mainframe ISV Software agreements
- Technical knowledge of IBM z/i Performance and Capacity Management
- Familiarity with IBM Z SMF processes and record types
- Broad knowledge of IBM z/i Application architectures and technologies
- Ability to drive adherence to technology standards and policies
- Expertise in identifying risks and implementing mitigating plans
- Ability to educate others on optimization tools and processes
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with corporate social responsibility and banking relationships
- Familiarity with new technologies and their integration within large organizations
- Knowledge of technology commercials and risk management
- Experience in optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Ability to derive insights from management reports to drive business decisions
