As a Project Manager – Technology Risk & Control, Equities & Securities Financing Technology, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution dedicated to enhancing technology risk and control measures across its technology teams. This project focuses on strengthening operational resilience, governance, and risk mitigation strategies. You will lead initiatives that ensure compliance with internal control standards while managing cross-functional collaboration between risk, technology, and leadership teams. Your expertise in project management and risk frameworks will be essential in delivering key global initiatives within a regulated financial environment.

Your main responsibilities: Managing technology risk and control projects from initiation to completion

  • Ensuring robust governance, reporting, and risk visibility across global teams
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including risk, technology, and leadership teams
  • Implementing risk mitigation strategies and enhancing operational resilience
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to align project objectives with risk frameworks
  • Driving Agile, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • Utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence to track project progress
  • Communicating project status, risks, and controls to senior stakeholders
  • Ensuring adherence to internal control standards and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitating decision-making processes through risk assessment and reportin

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong experience in managing projects within technology, risk, or compliance environments
  • Proven ability to engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders
  • A track record of successfully delivering projects aligned with risk frameworks
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  • Experience working with project management tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and reporting abilities for senior stakeholders
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Ability to drive operational resilience initiatives across global teams
  • Understanding of governance, control, and compliance best practices

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Previous experience working in Markets and Securities Services IT
  • Familiarity with Equities & Securities Financing Technology
  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Exposure to enterprise-wide technology risk management frameworks
  • Experience in business continuity planning and incident management
