Lead Exciting Security Projects and Join the Team at One of the Biggest Polish Banks!

Warsaw-based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month),

As a Project Manager you will be working for our client, a major player in the online banking sector, known for its complex organizational structure and commitment to digital security. You will lead security-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with internal project management standards. This role involves close cooperation with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and requires both technical insight and strong leadership skills. You will manage risks, resources, and schedules while ensuring clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities: Lead security projects within a large and structured organization

  • Assess specifications and suggest improvements
  • Plan, monitor, and manage project timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate project teams and delegate tasks effectively
  • Facilitate communication across project stakeholders
  • Organize and lead project status meetings
  • Prepare and present project status reports and documentation
  • Oversee project documentation and quality assurance
  • Manage risks, changes, and third-party providers
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with internal governance frameworks

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • A university degree in IT, management, economics, or finance
  • At least 4 years of experience in IT or security projects
  • Minimum 2 years in a team or project management role
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • A strong desire to grow in the cybersecurity domain
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • High stress tolerance and a strong sense of responsibility

Nice to have:

  • Experience in regulatory must-type projects
  • Experience working with a large number of stakeholders
