Project Manager

Warsaw-based opportunity with remote work mode.

As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth evaluations of project specifications, leading security projects within a complex organizational structure, preparing and managing project plans, monitoring project progress, managing risks, changes, resources, stakeholders, and vendors, as well as coordinating team efforts and ensuring effective communication within the project team.

Your main responsibilities: Conducting thorough evaluations of project specifications and proposing necessary changes

• Leading security projects within a large and complex organization
• Developing and managing project plans while monitoring progress
• Managing risks, changes, resources, stakeholders, and vendors
• Coordinating the project team’s efforts and activities
• Facilitating effective communication within the project team and moderating project status meetings
• Preparing presentations and status reports showcasing project progress
• Overseeing project documentation and ensuring project quality
• Creating project documentation

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management, Economics, Finance, or Banking
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the financial sector, including at least 4 years in leadership roles
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and independently, even under time pressure
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and take responsibility for assigned tasks
• Resilience to stress

Desired qualifications:

• Experience in leading security projects or regulatory must projects
• Knowledge of regulations such as DORA
• Involvement in Identity & Access Management projects
• Experience working with a large number of stakeholders
• Advanced interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, and analytical thinking
• Organizational skills, precision, and good work organization
