As a Release Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. You will contribute to improving service delivery by automating and streamlining processes, ensuring compliance with change management requirements, and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to enhance system reliability and performance. Your work will have a direct impact on strengthening cybersecurity infrastructure and processes in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Standardizing and automating Release Management processes using templates and shared libraries
- Creating and managing artifacts and evidence required for Change and Release Management
- Validating deployment processes using observability tools, including logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Collaborating with stakeholders across Cybersecurity and IT teams to implement protective solutions
- Investigating and delivering innovations for BAU and strategic projects
- Assisting in the training and mentoring of the Cybersecurity DevOps community
- Preparing and maintaining up-to-date documentation
- Designing and implementing automation solutions to improve service delivery
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A strong understanding of the Release Management process
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins (Groovy), Nexus, and GAR
- Expertise in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Helm
- A solid understanding of Change and Vulnerability Management processes
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of ITIL/Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and ServiceNow
- Familiarity with artifact repositories and secrets management solutions
- Troubleshooting skills for complex OS/network configurations
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali
- Knowledge of RedHat Linux and Windows Server operating systems
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Expertise in observability tools such as Splunk, Application Dynamics, and xMatters
- Experience with databases like MSSQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with service mesh solutions like Istio
- A track record of adapting to and learning new technologies
