Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)

As a Scrum Master, you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader undergoing a major digital transformation. You will be part of a high-impact Commercial Banking programme, focused on delivering cutting-edge software solutions for top-tier clients. This role requires strong agile leadership and project management expertise, as you guide cross-functional teams in delivering key banking applications. You will ensure timely delivery, effective stakeholder collaboration, and adherence to governance standards in a complex and regulated environment.

Your main responsibilities: Leading agile ceremonies and fostering collaboration across global teams

• Managing project timelines, budgets, and scope to ensure successful delivery
• Supporting development teams by removing impediments and enabling flow
• Tracking and reporting progress to senior stakeholders and management
• Facilitating communication between business, technical, and QA teams
• Encouraging continuous improvement through agile best practices
• Driving adoption of agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
• Managing project risks and ensuring mitigation plans are in place
• Mentoring team members in agile tools and techniques
• Aligning project deliverables with business goals and compliance standards

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience driving agile practices in a regulated environment
• Strong end-to-end project management skills
• Expertise in agile project delivery frameworks
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent tools
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple business stakeholders
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Java, ETL, APIs, and databases
• Experience managing project budgets
• Understanding of banking products or financial industry context

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience delivering projects in the financial sector
• Background as a software or test engineer
• Scrum Master or PMP certification
• Knowledge of waterfall methodology and hybrid models
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial institutions
