Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)

As a Scrum Master, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing a large-scale agile transformation to enhance its digital delivery capabilities. You will be guiding teams through the adoption of agile principles, ensuring effective collaboration, and facilitating the creation of high-quality, customer-focused products. Partnering with globally distributed teams, you will orchestrate the delivery of value through well-structured sprints and releases, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability. Your work will directly influence the speed, quality, and adaptability of innovative financial solutions.

Your main responsibilities: Organizing and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demos

  • Coordinating release planning and tracking progress using velocity, burn down charts, and other metrics
  • Translating high-level business requirements into clear backlogs, stories, and deliverables
  • Adapting schedules and resources to meet evolving project needs and priorities
  • Coaching teams to practice agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, and accountability
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within teams and across the organization
  • Mentoring stakeholders and peers to become agile advocates
  • Supporting the transition from traditional delivery methods to agile practices
  • Coordinating dependencies and fostering collaboration across globally distributed teams
  • Guiding teams to deliver potentially shippable increments at the end of each sprint

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, XP, BDD, ATDD, and TDD
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile role
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other agile tooling
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in managing project schedules and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Proven ability to self-manage and take ownership of outcomes
  • High motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to influence, lead, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Industry-recognized Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe 6
  • Experience with modern mobile technologies and delivery of mobile applications
  • Background in computer science or related quantitative fields
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
