Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office).

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager you will be working for our client, a global financial services provider undergoing continuous transformation to optimize operational efficiency and cost savings across multiple regions. You will be supporting key sourcing projects that contribute directly to country-level savings targets, managing end-to-end sourcing activities across various categories. You will play a crucial role in negotiation, contract management, and driving sourcing strategies aligned with the company’s goals. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, hybrid environment where strategic thinking meets real-world impact.

Your main responsibilities:Managing sourcing projects across different categories and geographies

  • Defining sourcing strategies to deliver maximum value
  • Leading negotiations and finalizing contracts with suppliers
  • Implementing, extending, and terminating supplier agreements
  • Supporting delivery of annual cost savings targets
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand sourcing requirements
  • Applying supply, cost, and demand levers to sourcing processes
  • Ensuring contract compliance and maintaining procurement standards
  • Analyzing market data and benchmarks to guide sourcing decisions
  • Coordinating with legal and compliance teams during the procurement lifecycle
  • You’re ideal for this role if you have:
  • Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating supplier agreements
  • Ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines independently
  • Strong data analysis and benchmarking capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • University degree in business, economics, or a related field
  • Experience delivering measurable savings through sourcing strategies
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Capability to handle multiple sourcing categories simultaneously
  • Comfort working in a hybrid office environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with sourcing tools or procurement platforms
  • Proficiency in any additional European language
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory aspects of sourcing
  • Knowledge of supplier risk assessment and mitigation
  • Previous experience working in a multinational financial institution
  • Exposure to strategic sourcing across EMEA or global markets
  • Ability to present sourcing strategies and results to senior stakeholders
  • Understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO) models
  • Experience managing supplier relationships long-term
  • Skills in spend analysis and reporting
