Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office).

As a Structured Data DLP SME, you will be working for our client, a global financial leader delivering secure and innovative digital banking solutions to millions of customers worldwide. The client is investing heavily in cybersecurity and data protection, especially in the realm of structured data. You will be instrumental in integrating large-scale database systems into the organization’s security framework, ensuring compliance, visibility, and control over sensitive data. Working with a hybrid cloud/on-prem architecture, your role will help optimize data flows, protect key assets, and shape future data loss prevention strategies.

Your main responsibilities: Leading the integration of database audit logs into the existing DLP tooling

  • Configuring and optimizing audit engines for both on-prem and cloud platforms
  • Collaborating with global teams to deliver secure data ingestion pipelines
  • Leveraging cloud-native tools like AWS Cloudwatch and Azure EventHub for log collection
  • Applying security controls aligned with global compliance and regulatory standards
  • Utilizing Imperva Thales DSF to ensure seamless log ingestion and analysis
  • Monitoring and analyzing large datasets for anomalies and performance
  • Advising on best practices for structured data management and protection
  • Supporting continuous improvement through scripting and automation
  • Engaging with stakeholders to define security requirements and ensure visibility

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity with a focus on structured data protection
  • Strong database administration knowledge across multiple platforms
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Guardium or Imperva Data Security Fabric
  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native logging and delivery streams
  • Solid understanding of DLP principles and data integration frameworks
  • Working knowledge of JSON and markup languages
  • Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools
  • Good communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Experience in regulated industries with a focus on compliance
  • Proficiency in scripting, especially with regular expressions and log transformation

It’s a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with Databricks and Machine Learning modeling
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, and AliCloud
  • Experience with PySpark for data processing and transformation
  • Information Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, GIAC, ISO 27001, etc.)
