Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a System Administrator, you will be working for our client, a recognized leader in online banking, supporting the core infrastructure of a fast-paced financial environment. The client is focused on delivering secure, efficient, and innovative banking solutions to millions of users. You will contribute to maintaining and enhancing the reliability of IT systems, managing system software, and ensuring that critical infrastructure components meet the demands of the financial industry. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative team setting.

Your main responsibilities: Maintain and monitor system infrastructure including operating systems, databases, and hardware

  • Configure and troubleshoot system software and hardware components
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure systems align with financial application requirements
  • Implement and support backup and recovery solutions including SAN environments
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
  • Ensure systems are secure and regularly patched
  • Support the deployment of financial applications and maintain system compatibility
  • Assist in documenting system configurations and procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to technical incidents
  • Cooperate with vendors and service providers on system-related issues

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of system software and hardware tools
  • Experience with operating systems, databases, and SAN environments
  • Familiarity with applications used in financial institutions
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • High stress resistance and problem-solving mindset
  • Willingness to work in a structured, high-security environment
