As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, within the Global Traded Risk Technology department. You’ll contribute to the development of Client’s STAR platform, a critical system for risk factor definitions and market data analysis.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and developing solutions based on user stories in the project’s backlog
• Contributing to architecture designs and decisions
• Reviewing other team members’ solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of Java 17
• Experience with Spring Boot and core Spring API’s
• Expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs
• Proficiency in database technologies, preferably Postgres
• Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins and Git
• Experience in application development using GCP technologies

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of GCP Technologies: (GKE, gcloud SDK, Cloud SQL, DataFlow, BigTable)
• Experience with Grafana, Kubernetes/Docker, Terraform, Messaging/Streaming technologies like Kafka, Vaadin, and Apache Beam
