Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 100% remotely!

As an IAM Authentication SME, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, to enhance and secure the organization’s identity and access management framework. This role focuses on implementing and monitoring centralized IAM authentication controls, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align authentication strategies with organizational goals, supporting a secure and efficient operational platform for business growth and regulatory compliance.

Your main responsibilities: Developing, implementing, and maintaining authentication control policies and procedures

  • Monitoring authentication control activities to ensure compliance and reporting on relevant Key Control Indicators (KCIs)
  • Collaborating with Cybersecurity, IT, and business units to align authentication strategies with organizational goals
  • Managing authentication control lifecycle activities, including credential generation, distribution, storage, use, and destruction
  • Staying current on industry trends and advancements in authentication controls for enhancement and innovation opportunities
  • Scanning internal and external requirements to update policies and procedures accordingly
  • Developing and delivering training and awareness programs on authentication control practices
  • Communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely
  • Supporting cross-functional collaboration and inspiring adherence to control standards
  • Working independently, balancing multiple priorities while focusing on broader goals

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Experience in Cyber Security and IAM controls, including supporting IAM change initiatives
  • Strong technical and architectural skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to make timely and rational decisions based on relevant information
  • Role-relevant qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Sound collaboration skills and the ability to work in a diverse global environment
  • A proactive approach to service improvement and adherence to control standards
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change, supporting others in doing the same
  • Confidence to work independently and take responsibility for personal progress and development

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with centralized directory services and multi-factor authentication
  • Knowledge of password management best practices
  • Familiarity with industry trends and advancements in authentication controls
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs on IAM practices
  • Ability to scan and update policies based on internal/external requirements
  • Prior experience working in a financial institution or similar regulated environment
